ABOUT PROJECT
The original oak kitchen in this 1978 home had a DIY remodel during the 90’s but needed updated again. The current homeowner wanted to compliment the rustic oak in the family room but keep the terracotta floor tile.
Here is how we accomplished it:
–designed cabinet layout to match existing tile
–removed bead board ceiling/ upgraded electrical, plumbing
–removed soffits & rerouted HVAC
–installed new rustic pecan cabinets & quartzite tops to coordinate with floor tile
–reinstalled appliances and new handles
The finished product adds storage and compliments the existing floor & wood trim perfectly!
