ABOUT PROJECT
The extra sitting room in this 1937 home was just off the kitchen. The homeowner requested a powder room & closet space in place of the sitting room since the main floor didn’t have a bathroom.
Here is how we helped:
–remove existing paneling and save to use on new walls
–remove existing wood flooring where bath tile would go
–build new walls to create powder room & closet
–install drywall, paint, tile floor
–install new plumbing, vanity to create powder room
–finish details to match existing trim & handles
The finished spaces incorporate so many details that match the existing character, it feels like it has always been there. What a great addition to the home!
