ABOUT PROJECT
The basement in this 1949 home had wood paneling, a low ceiling and asbestos tile flooring. The homeowners wanted to enjoy using it for their workout area but needed it to be updated for them to enjoy and future resale. The bathroom had also been added decades ago but the shower didn’t work and it was also dark.
Here is how we helped:
–removed wood paneling, ceiling and bath fixtures
–added new HVAC, plumbing and electrical to code
–coordinated asbestos removal company and replaced with LVT glue down flooring
–painted ceiling black with special “dry fall” ceiling paint
–installed new simple bathroom fixtures, painted doors and trim
The fresh surface selections and new bathroom fixtures have created a space the homeowners are now happy to use and enjoy!
