The original 1992 oak U shaped kitchen had seen a face-lift, however the flow and style of the kitchen were in need of help. The entrance to the dining room created a tight passage from the garage and there was also no longer a need for a formal dining room. By moving the dining entry and lengthening the counter-top, a better traffic pattern was created.
Here is what was changed:
–formal dining room was changed to main eating area
–dining room entrance was shifted down and widened
–eat in kitchen table was removed to angle peninsula
–cabinets were updated to painted uppers and pecan lowers
–new Cambria quartz counter-tops were installed
–tall pantry storage was increased
The new shifted floor plan allows wider entrance from garage and ample counter-top space and storage. Just what this young family needed!
