ABOUT PROJECT
The original 3 season sunroom was separated from the rest of the home with a sliding patio door and wasn’t used during the cold months. The homeowners requested being able to use it year-round and making it feel like an expansion of the newly remodeled kitchen.
Here is what we changed:
–patio door was removed and opening made for barn doors
–ceramic tile floor was removed to prep for continuing LVP
–heat ducts were added from the basement to the exterior wall under the floor
–extra insulation was added under the floor
–new windows were installed in place of original extra patio doors
The whole family now enjoying the new expanded living space even during the winter months!
