ABOUT PROJECT

The original kitchen in this 1960 home was dark and dated and wasn’t functioning properly for the homeowner. One of the dreams for this remodel was to add a built-in hutch on one side of the room, somewhere to display their nice dishes and add more countertop space for hosting.

While the layout of the space remained largely the same, just by updating the finishes we were able to brighten and improve the functionality. The final result is a kitchen the homeowner can be proud of and enjoy using!

Here is how we helped:
– Removed existing flooring, cabinetry, countertops, and paneling
– Removed soffits to carry wall cabinetry to ceiling
– Updated plumbing, electrical, and HVAC where needed
– Added LED wafers and undercabinet lighting
– Installed new LVT flooring, drywall, and painted
– Installed new painted cabinetry in colors Steam and Retreat
– Installed new Sturgeon Grey quartz countertops
– Helped select and installed new plumbing fixtures in matte black
– Finalized with black cabinet handles and backsplash
– (During a separate phase of the project, we also replaced the doors and trim in the home)
