ABOUT PROJECT

The existing kitchen was closed off from the rest of this 1919 home by a previously added closet. It also had an assortment of cabinetry that had been cobbled together but lacked a functional layout. The current homeowners were looking for a kitchen that added storage, countertop space and flowed with the rest of the home.
Here is how we helped:
–removed closet to open up wall to dining room
–replaced windows with garage roof view to now shorten the view to look at trees
–updated structure, electrical & plumbing to current codes
–incorporated a closet space to use for front entry
–installed an undermount corner task sink, dry bar area, and island to add function
The end result is day & night with the new open floor plan that compliments the vintage home & is loved by the whole family! What a great place to entertain family & friends for the holidays!
