ABOUT PROJECT
The owners of this 1960 home needed to add a primary bedroom and bathroom (check out our post titled “Fun BASEMENT BATH” to see pics of the bathroom) to their basement. They were also looking for a family space and an office.
Here are some of the other added features:
– A wet bar was added with a hot water faucet
– Storage cabinets and a desk space were installed to the right of the wet bar
– A landing area for shoes, coats, and bags was installed near the stairs
– An egress window was installed for the primary bedroom, as well as a door with frosted glass to help the light shine through to the rest of the space while still providing privacy
– An electric fireplace was installed to help with heat in the winter months
– LVP was selected and installed for easy maintenance
