ABOUT PROJECT
The homeowner of this 1952 ranch had a vision to cut down the basement walls and open up the kitchen to the rest of the home. The kitchen sink would then change walls to be under a window. The structural changes created challenges.
Here is how we helped:
–demoed existing wall materials to prep for beam install
–beam installed where basement walls started so they could be cut down
–finish framing, new electrical & plumbing to prep for drywall
–new LVT flooring, natural maple cabinetry & solid surface countertops were installed
–a closet door was narrowed due to new framing but cork floor was saved
The finished space is brighter and makes the small ranch feel much larger. What a great place to entertain in now!
