ABOUT PROJECT

Most 1960’s basements were planned for storage & utilities only, however it is a great place to expand the living space. This young family was looking for room for a family room, bathroom and office but wanted it to compliment the mid-century feel of the rest of the home. The basement in their 1968 home was the perfect place for expansion.
Here is how we finished the space:
–framed the walls & soffits to create the 3 rooms (bath, office, family)
–included plumbing, electrical and heating as needed
–drywalled, painted and installed low maintenance LVP flooring
–installed vanity, quartz top & accessories in bathroom
–custom stretched wire handrail was installed & stained to match vanity
The space turned out just as the family hoped and they can’t wait to move in and start using the space!
