ABOUT PROJECT
The homeowners had extended their basement garage and now had extra room to use. A bathroom & bedroom were requested to be carved out of the old garage space. This new space was requested to be accessed thru the existing basement family room.
Here is how we helped:
–added egress window for new bedroom
–framed space for bathroom & bedroom (ceiling soffits around boiler heat pipes)
–moved access door to hall of new suite
–added plumbing for shower, toilet & lavatory
–added heated floor under bathroom marble tile
The finished bedroom/bathroom suite functions well as an extension of part of the original home!
