ABOUT PROJECT
The 1923 craftsman style home had a typical upstairs with 4 bedrooms sharing a hall bath. Each bedroom was similar in size, and lacked a master bedroom or larger closet. The floor plan was creatively modified to create a larger bedroom, walk in closet and larger bathroom from one of the bedrooms.
- The new bathroom space allowed for a large double vanity cabinet made from quarter sawn oak
- The center drawer stack incorporates a space for the toekick heater needed to supplement the heat in the room
- Glass tile was installed in a contemporary pattern with a nod to the classic
- Green corian shelves were used since the chimney behind the back wall didn’t allow for a wall shampoo niche.
The new master suite expands the volume of space within the same confines of the home, while continuing the homes character.
