The basement lacked purpose in this 1962 ranch home. Looking for extra family space, the homeowner requested reconfiguring the usable space and incorporating some of the additional storage room.
Here is what we helped change:
–reframed to include extra storage room and 2 existing windows
–painted ceiling black to capture full height
–added lvp flooring and new wood door to existing laundry/bath
–reconfigured existing boiler heat for new layout
–painted stairs and updated railing and carpet runner
The finished basement has become a warm and adored mixed use space. The family loves the office, workout, craft and tv viewing corners that now embrace their family life!
