ABOUT PROJECT

When her childhood home needed an updated kitchen, we looked at several design options. This 1923 home also had the challenge of being located in a historic neighborhood so the existing front facing window could not be altered. To incorporate the character of the home, several design details were also included ie: glass doors, subway tile, wood floors etc.
Here is what makes up the new kitchen:
–removed over-sized entry closet for added kitchen square footage
–moved sink and appliances for better flow & function
–added storage and counter-top space
–matched oak flooring from other rooms to visually enlarge
–new white and sage green 2-tone cabinetry was selected
–dark granite tops (w/green flecks) and black hardware accents
–added LED efficient task lighting
The new kitchen feels spacious, bright and a joy to work in according to the homeowners! So glad we were able to add to the future memories of this family!
